Community Open Day.

We shall be there. Come and say hello.

The event is held at the Mica on 10th October 10:00 – 14:00 and is a celebration of our community volunteers.

The laser printer.

Has now been relocated to our new temporary location. We have also bought a laptop to run it. If you want to try your hand at etching or cutting then please contact us.

Skate Jam

We attended the inaugural skate jam event and were soon inundated with repairs. From simple flat tyres to jammed brakes and misaligned wheels; we were able to send the bikes and scooters away in a much safer condition. We did however draw the line at performing 360 deg loops on our bikes.

Round the island container pushing

Despite the valiant efforts of the organisers, this event never really got going!

Our permanent home

We have been investigating a new site for our “Shed” in the corner of the allotments. The Town Council, the Allotment Association and the landowners have all agreed in principle subject to an acceptable plan and design and Colchester City Council planning approval. This is a major step forward and we’re working hard to make this happen.
